Ryan-Momma's Got Some Catching Up to Do!

I cannot believe it has been over 1 month since I last posted anything about Ryan.  We have had a great summer so far & have kept busy with playgroup events, Gymboree, the splash table, the pool, hanging with Bianca, and so much more! Developmentally, Ryan is doing very well.  As far as night time sleep, not so much! Still struggling there, but he is such a little love. He has finally started snuggling with Momma.  Very sweet!

Ryan has repeated many words but consistently says - ball, bird, whoo-hoo, (more like who-who), mouth, head, & Bianca (Kanka). He has said the words - car, thank you, cracker, & water, but he does not use them on a regular basis yet. He chatters A LOT & mimics many sounds, which is very cool. He even "sings" the alphabet song a little bit & cheers yaye when he is done.  It is a great approximation for a 1-year old.  I think he has a good ear.

Since the last few posts have been without any video, I have uploaded several with some text to explain what you'll see!

MISS GAIL PART 2: Ryan sitting and bouncing to Miss Gail! We love Miss Gail's CD and listen every day...he even asks for it by saying "hey, hey, hey" which is the chorus to the first song. Look Who's Walking Now? Ryan is walking now. This is the first weekend (weekend of July 4th) when he really started to use walking as his main mode of transport.
