My Foo Foo Stinker Foo

My little stinker incognito
Ryan is a stinker sometimes...or as I like to call him, "Foo Foo Stinker Foo."  In the grand tradition of my giving many nicknames to the little ones I love, Ryan has about ten.  I am trying to call him by his given name most of the time, but there are times when a nickname works better for me.  Recently, Ryan has been a stinker, and thus, a foo foo stinker foo.

Ryan is as they say, "into everything," and I let him explore most of the time.  We have had to turn the kitchen table chairs outwards to stop him from climbing on the table.  I tell ya - we are slowing down on the "everything in my mouth stage" and have entered the "climb on everything stage." I blame Gymboree, (ha ha), and you might hear me say that in a video or two.

Here are some pics of Ryan's best stinker foo moments caught on camera. (normal pics-not video) There are videos at the end.

LOVING ON THE VACUUM, PART II:

Finally, I find it strange that Ryan has so many videos in his pampers. I swear he wears shorts a lot, but I guess not.  Or, is it that I find the camera during pantless times?

Next time...the words Ryan has said - I will list them all.

Ryan - Learning and Loving

Originally took this pic for Aunt Sue because he's wearing his CA shirt...
but thought it would be a good blog photo instead.
I titled this blog "Learning and Loving" because I think it best describes where Ryan is right now.  He is learning lots and constantly asking me, "What's That? - What is THAT?"  He is also quite huggy.  Too huggy with his buddies. He gets so excited with his older friends, Finn and Teddy, and once he starts hugging them - I can't get him to stop!

As many of you know, Ryan watches a few programs. He really loves "Little Einsteins."  About a month ago, Ryan started interacting with the program.  The main character, Leo, asks kids to go on a mission with him and his friends - June, Quincy, and his sister, Annie.  They have a red rocket called Rocket to take them on their adventures around the world.  In order to give Rocket power, the kids have to pat their legs and raise their arms, "Way Up High" to help rocket take off.   Ryan does this for every show. It is so stinking cute that I like to watch him do it every time.  If you want to learn more about the program, here is the link:

This is Ryan helping during Rocket's "Blast Off:"

Ryan has two guy friends, Finn and Teddy.  Finn and Teddy are 6 and 5 months older than Ryan.  Finn lives in our neighborhood & is one of Ry's main buddies.  It is great to have the two boys so close in age.  They're fun and slated to get into lots of trouble together.  We know Teddy from the Moms Club.

We had breakfast with Finn on Sunday followed by an impromptu playdate.  Ryan loved hugging Finn.  Below is Ryan getting in some cuddle time with Finn.  Ryan also got in some guy love with Teddy this morning. Poor Teddy! Teddy is named Teddy and is not a teddybear.  Not sure how cool he was with all the little buddy worship this morning. I think I made it worse because I was constantly pulling Ryan off Teddy in fear he would bite Teddy.  Ryan thinks biting equals kisses sometimes!

Other than that, all is well.  Here are pics from the last few weeks with some narration to give you an idea of what we've been up to these last 2 weeks.

We were sick..so we dressed up that day. Ryan loves bumblebees.

Playing kitchen.  Ryan loves the pot with lid. He also likes the fake peas & carrots...
and faux chicken leg.

Potato salad anyone?

This one is for you Aunt Sue. Ryan likes to play with the basketball.

Playing with Daddy and the new stacking toy. Neat!
Keep cool in all this heat...if you are one of the lucky ones melting in this humidity and oppressive summer weather!!  xo, The Puylearts
