| I'm back! |
Hello Family! No, I have not forgotten about the blog. We were actually down a computer. Had a big crash, and well, now, we have Windows 8. With that said, we are enjoying spring's warm temperatures. Been very, very busy with the yard, birthdays, and the usual.
Pretty much every weekend, we have been out in the yard. It starts out just fine, but we are out ALL DAY sometimes with our projects, and Ryan can get a little antsy. He gets a little muddy too, and in that GA clay, well, he basically turns a nice shade of orange. See pic below. He has also asked for his own, "baby pickaxe," as we generally have to use a pickaxe to dig in the "dirt" here, and he would like to help. Since he doesn't get a baby pickaxe, he's keeping himself occupied digging in his dirt/soil box or getting into trouble. Dare I repeat the peeing down the slide story?
We have been going on our usual outings now that it is spring. I have to be careful because of my seasonal asthma, and I sometimes wear a mask when we are outside around the house. I don't let that stop us from having fun. We have gone to Morgan Falls at least twice. We went to the GA Aquarium one last time with our family membership (expires today). We even visited a cool place called "Farmhouse in the City." While there, Ryan got to hold/see a bunny, a rooster, and a chicken. He did not hold the rooster. I love the picture of him below with the owner's daughter.
Tis also the season for birthday parties! We have been to Logan and Jack's birthday parties. Logan is a friend from Gymboree. We met when the boys were just a year old. Logan has been featured in a blog or two. Jack is a preschool friend. He loves Thomas the Tank engine. A LOT. We have a birthday party for our playgroup playmate, Emily, on Saturday and Phoebe (former playgroup buddy) on the final Sunday of April. Below are two pictures of Ryan at two of the birthday events.
Finally, I posted pictures from a race that Dave did this past Saturday. Ryan was so happy to watch Daddy run. Ry also participated in the "Fun Run," but was easily distracted by some geese and ducks, so he did not finish. He did take some cute pictures with Dad when they were doing their own, fun run, while waiting for the start. I love these pictures. The smiles on their faces are priceless. Love my boys.
